Locating Our True Self Beneath The Noise There is no doubt that humans are social creatures. We thrive on connection its in our nature. Spending time with people, talking, laughing, loving, and discovering each other. But somewhere in the middle of all of these diverse connections we forget the most important one of them all: the connection with ourselves. This unique connection that links our soul and mind is found in solitude. Solitude is not about isolation, and its not about romanticizing loneliness, solitude is honoring parts of us that cannot be unraveled beneath the noise and spotlight. The mind creates symbols, images, and answers that cannot truly echo between the babble of the everyday life. We tend to numb and run away from our thoughts, our pain, our dreams, by distracting ourselves with these connections, we ignore the wants our souls crave. Loving Things For What They Are, Not What They give you We all love and want to be loved, love is beautiful, love is poetic, love is a need, love is a lifestyle, we give and receive love everyday sometimes noticing it and sometimes not.
